Black is Beautiful: Using the Ebony Hue in Interior Design
What’s bold, glamorous, dramatic, sleek and sultry, all while still being a neutral? The color black. Ebony hues are integral to any design of a space, which is why interior designers tend to adhere to the rule that every room needs a little bit of black. The color helps ground a space, adds a focal point, helps the other neutrals and colors around it pop, and elevates a space to be more sophisticated. Black is beautiful and here’s proof.

I have dreams of painting a couple areas on the interior and exterior of our house black, as well as renovating our kitchen to have some black. I’m taking inspiration from everywhere that I can find it. Here are a few more images that prove black is beautiful.
As you can see, black helps make a space stand out. This can be done by pieces of home decor, lighting, paint, and furniture.

How do you feel about black decor, paint, and objects in the home? Are you inspired to add black to any of your spaces?
