Kitchen Inspiration

The best part of dreaming of a future kitchen is all the inspiration and I have been Pinning kitchen inspiration for years. I recently shared with you all about our kitchen, what we don’t like about it, what we’ve done to make it more enjoyable while we save for a renovation, and a little bit of what we envision happening with the space. And now let’s look at some pretty pictures!

Not all of these would work for the cozy cottage, either due to the overall aesthetic, or space or function, or some combination. But all of this kitchen inspiration sure has me dreaming!

While these kitchens as they are in these photos may not work for our house in every way, they each have several elements that we hope to incorporate into our future kitchen. They all explore bold color through cabinetry or wall paint; most emphasize natural materials, such as the concrete island and countertop, marble countertop and backsplash, and natural wood cabinets, stools or wall paneling; they all have bold patterns, whether it’s through wood grain, striations in the natural stone, or tile patterns; and metal as a decor item, especially brass, are focal points.

If you could renovate your kitchen, what would it look like? I hope these images and my Pinterest board serve you up some good kitchen inspiration.
