The 256 Project 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

Whether you know exactly what you’re getting everyone this holiday season (and maybe have already started shopping!), you know nothing, or are somewhere in between, you never know where inspiration may strike for that perfect holiday gift. Here’s The 256 Project’s 2019 holiday gift guide for the variety of adults in your life and kids.

For the Art Lover:

I’ve had my eye on Brooklyn Dolly’s work for a while. / One of my best friends got us a Keith Haring-print domino set that I think were meant for Daniel and me to play with but the baby has been having fun with them for now. / Chairish has a great selection of vintage and new art works, so a gift certificate there would offer the art lover in your life a chance to build their collection. / Or a membership to their local museum would provide a wonderful ongoing art experience.

For the Home Cook…or Someone Who Wants Their Kitchen to Look Pretty:

I just snagged this chopping block from Coming Soon for us and can’t wait to see it in our kitchen every day. / Also on my personal shopping list are these beautiful salt and pepper shakers from my friends at Hewn Goods. / I love truffle-flavored anything, so this set from Terrain is very appealing to me. / I LOVE Half Baked Harvest’s Instagram account and have tried a few of her recipes before. If you haven’t, I highly suggest a follow and also her new cookbook would make a great gift for the home cook in your life.

For the Kids:

This Scandiborn doctors case and set is adorable (no longer available). / HarperIman makes beautiful, handmade, collectible dolls for kids, including custom orders. Even though Christmas orders are now closed, I’m sharing anyway so you can save this idea for next year or for a birthday or any other reason you can think of to gift a child these beautiful dolls. / For the creative kid in your life, let their imagination flow with this blank comic coloring book. / This SoftZone Climb and Crawl Activity Play Set may just be under the tree for our baby this year.

For Those Into Self-Care … or Need to Be!:

A friend got me this Herbivore body polish while I was pregnant last year and I loved it and also really appreciated the gift. / For the person who has a beard, this Cremo beard balm is old-school, no frills and does the job with a soft aroma. / The Deities candle collection by Neffi Walker of The Black Home looks gorgeous. / There is nothing more important to self-care than good sleep. Last year, we got a Leesa mattress, which definitely improved how we sleep by tons. I tested out these Leesa pillows and they would make a great gift for someone who is in need of great sleep.

For Everyone:

The new Disney+ is all Daniel has been talking about and we actually already gifted a membership to someone. / I LOVE notebooks! This one by Rubberband is so pretty (similar here). / There are blankets on every sofa in our house because under the covers is my favorite place to be. This one from the MoMA Store would look great on the sofa of the person who likes color. / Dolly Parton is on fire now…I mean, always…and what better way to celebrate her extreme talent than with the gift of her music.

Hope this 2019 holiday gift guide helped inspire you in some way! And for more ideas, check out last year’s gift guide here.
