Trend Report: Color, Color Everywhere!

I was lucky enough to go to Design & Construction Week in Las Vegas a few weeks ago where home, design and construction companies show off what is new across the industry, and what we can expect to see taking over the design world the next year or so. One major trend caught my eye: color!

Here are several examples of color that I saw at Design and Construction Week:

The stove, sinks and bold marble pictured above don’t nearly cover all the color I saw. Appliances, walls, cabinets – color was everywhere, on every type of surface.

As you know, I love color. I’ve written about it so many times, including here. So seeing the rainbow at Design and Construction Week made me very happy! But sometimes it’s hard to understand how to apply what you see in instances like these to your actual home. Here are a few of my favorite ways people have incorporated color into their homes:

As you can see, there are many ways to do color, from artwork to full built-ins and walls, and appliances. I’m all about this move toward more and more color at home. What do you think of this trend of color being everywhere? Are you inspired by any of these images?
