Home Office Inspiration

Still working from home full-time and will be for the foreseeable future? Well, if you haven’t yet, now might be a good time to revamp your office space, whether you actually already have a dedicated home office or need to get creative. From setting up folding desks in unused corners to renovating a room to create the ultimate home office, I’ve seen so many cool, creative, unique, and beautiful ways to get to work at home for a variety of budgets and spaces. Here are five home offices to serve as inspiration.

Keep it simple, with a punch of graphics (that rug and artwork, the shape of the desk) and a simple yet stately storage unit, as seen in Queer Eye interior designer Bobby Berk’s home office above.

It can be so hard to make a standard office chair look good but Kate Arends of Wit & Delight did it. Take a cue from what she did – let it shine, literally, with all that natural light. Even if you don’t have those beautiful windows, she makes this chair look beautiful by surrounding it with objects of beauty, like that rug, the accent chair, and her other decor choices.

Do you think that setting up a permanent office space in the middle of another room might harsh the cool design vibes you’ve carefully curated? That doesn’t have to be the case, as Stephanie Michelle shows us. She’s set up a desk that is designed to work perfectly in her colorful living room, even tying into the entryway behind it.

As many in small spaces know, sometimes you have to get really creative with what you have in order for you to get the most function in your home. So, if that means taking a closet and turning it into an office, so be it. Check out what Ryan Pavlovich did for his home office here.
