This Friday Faves is all about pretty things, including Instagram accounts, the interracial couple emoji, a house tour and flowers. I’m spring fevering like crazy over here and can’t concentrate on anything else, just sunshine and all the goodness that that brings. Here’s a view of where my brain has been this past week, including a worthy petition I would love for you to sign.

Do you follow Eye Swoon on Instagram? Interior designer and cook Athena Calderone only posts pretty pictures and I love seeing them. She also recently did an episode of food podcast Cherry Bombe. If you want to hear the voice behind the Eye Swoon account, check out the Cherry Bombe podcast here. In addition to talking about food and cooking, she talks about simple ways to add beauty to your home, such as adding greenery, investing in bedding and sleep habits, and installing lights on dimmers.

I have used the hashtag #whereistheinterracialcoupleemoji in social media posts in the past and, as it turns out, I am one of many who has been asking that question. Tinder has created a campaign with an awesome video to petition the powers that be to create an interracial couple emoji. Read about this news, watch the video and please sign the petition here. The fact that this even needs to be petitioned is ridiculous.

I know I just talked about Mid-Century Modern design and California but, honestly, I just can’t move past this type of design and lifestyle. One day… one day… In the meantime, check out this house tour on Dwell. I want it!
