Friday Faves: My One Room Challenge Picks

Happy Friday, folks! I recently participated in the One Room Challenge, which you may recall as that was all I talked about for six weeks. There were 20 featured designers and more than 200 guest participants. I went through them all and have picked out my One Room Challenge favorites. Wanna see?

These are some of One Room Challenge favorites from both featured designers and guest participants, in no particular order:

Emily of The Sweet Beast, pictured above, put together such a beautiful guest bedroom. I love the color, love all the textures and materials, and the details, like the shape of the mirror and the use of leather pulls.

Chris and Christine of Amidst the Chaos put together a living room that I want for our own house.

Kristian of Circa 1889 designed a beautiful bedroom for her son with some pretty cool DIY action, at least one amazing vintage find and really sweet personalized artwork.

This feature wall that Tamara of A Happening House designed turned out so well. What a view to see when you first walk into the house!

I have no words for what Jewel of Jeweled Interiors designed and, I think, even entirely DIY’d. She designed the fabric and upholstered that couch!!!

I have never seen bunk beds this creative and also beautifully made. Well done, Jessica of The Vanderveen House!

Natalie of Arsenic Lace kicked some serious ass with this kick-ass office. You can never be in a bad mood working in here!

Angela of The Painted House, a designer I discovered during the last One Room Challenge, created a guest suite – a bedroom with sitting area, mini kitchen, full bathroom, and outdoor space – that I would want to live in full time. I’m such a fan of hers now.

Ashley at The Gold Hive created a master bedroom that I also would want. That bed is now on my short list for our future bed, if I don’t make a headboard myself. That paint color is dreamy and I love the board and batten and sconces. Yummy!
