Friday Faves

Friday Faves: News from My Favorite Designers and the One Room Challenge

It’s been a long while since I’ve posted a Friday Faves, mainly out of having a really lazy summer. But it’s officially fall and I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. So I’m back with a new Friday Faves, sharing news from a couple of my favorite designers and more.

Sarah Sherman Samuel, whose work I love, revealed this summer in Architectural Digest her design of actress Mandy Moore’s midcentury modern home. Since the magazine reveal, she’s been sharing lots of photos and details room by room on her blog. To catch up on all the rooms she designed and styled, check out her blog here. And here are a couple of my favorite glimpses into this stunning home:

Another designer I’m a fan of is Justina Blakeney and she’s got a new line at Target. I’m digging this Yellow Ayo Sun Circle Throw Pillow (no longer available) that she designed for Target’s Makers Collective.

Grace Bonney of Design*Sponge has a new podcast called Good Company. She interviewed two of my favorite designers for the first two episodes – Genevieve Gorder and the aforementioned Justina Blakeney. Check it out here.

Also, the fall One Room Challenge starts next week and I’m super excited to see what people do. You can follow along here once the site updates with the newest information. I participated in the spring One Room Challenge and you can catch up on that here.

Have a great weekend!
