Friday Faves: The Holidays and More

Color authority Pantone released this week its 2020 color of the year, classic blue. What do you think?
I really hate how everything geared toward kids is based on gender. Anything we buy for baby is very specifically gender neutral and I’m always on the lookout for more sources of infant clothes (and eventually toys) that aren’t categorized into boys and girls. So I was very happy to recently find out about primary.com.
This post on The Grit and Polish about ideal home size is so interesting! The cozy cottage is just under 1300 sq feet. I definitely feel like it’s too small but I think that is mostly based on the layout of the home. I think if we could create as much of an open space on the first floor, I would feel differently about it. But I would really like to have a master suite. When we have guests, the lack of privacy really bothers me. How do you feel about the size of your home?
